I'm doing a little bit of a mini-change to my site. First of all, you'll notice that at the bottom of every page I've added a siteTracker, GeoURL, and RSS link. The Tracker is so that I can see who's going to my site (see Updated Privacy Policy). The GeoURL link is so that you can see who this site's 'neighbors' are (anyone within 10 km of me I think). Finally, using the RSS feed, you can see the news that's coming from this very site. Happy browsing!
I sort of tweaked the Catch-22 flash file and added a few things at the end (bottom text, quotes around the stars as in review, rating [R -- of course], etc.) It's still at the same place. I'm working on the CD Repo Man flash now, and it'll take so long!
After a few FTP errors which caused uploading to take longer than it should, the site is finally LIVE!!!! That means you can see it. Ain't that awesome?
All I have to do is create the remaining pages and move over the multimedia content and I'll be done *does a dance*.

Catch-22 Theatrical TrailerI re-did the site to be more text-based and less flash-based. I decided that I'll let my animations be my animator merit, not the site. As for the site, I did use ABS's style to get be started but I did a lot of re-working to it so that it would fit my site. That also left space to include CuteNews for my news section, this'll allow me to let you guys comment and stuff. Any spam or anything likewise will have the IP address banned, however. Anyways, I'm almost done so this'll hit live soon.
I changed the flash network thing so that the 'return to main site' button is labelled with 'power' and when you click it, it's like the TV is powering down. You can check that out right now. Anyways...I really need to get to work on my flash animations.
EDIT: I also made it so that when you click a navigation link, it simply loads the movie into the current one, which saves all the over head of having 5 php files and things like that. Also, you don't have to reload the page.
A little bit more work done on CD repo man (not really...I'm waiting to see if I can draw a decent person and I need to fix my preloader). I also used some handy php to make it so that this file is non-cacheable. It may take 5 extra seconds to load (OMG!!!) but at least it updates... in addition to all that I also updated the sound on the about section (it used to say I'm about to go into ninth grade..also my birthday is the second so I just said what the heck? and said i'm 14 in there)
I fixed the demented fly-in text in this intro...it doesn't morph when the words come in at the very end of the animation. Also, I created a preloader to use for my flash movies. Now I just have to make a movie :-.
Well...I stopped procrastinating today. I started planning out a music video for "CD Repo Man" by the Aquabats, and storyboarding my flash file for school based on Catch 22 by Joseph Heller. In other words...MORE CONTENT SOON. I'll give you a sneak peek at the CD Repo Man one when I get something drawn.
Wow...got Flash 8 today. Gonna play around with it and maybe do some sort of animation soon. Actually advertised the site to my friends too. I figured out how to fix the cookie problem I had with ROTCA. Also...you will probably need Flash Player 8 to see my new toons. So...everything seems good. Can't wait to actually make something.
W00t...the google ads on my dad's site paid off for paid hosting, which means I can stop searching for a free host. By the way, I decided I can use only one MySQL database anyways (how ironic, eh?) So...for now I am simply admiring my new css layout. I just need to add a private messaging feature to ROTCA and then I'll start working on my first decent length flash movie!
I've been busy recently, due to school starting and all, but I did re-do
the entire site with css compliance, and it looks a lot better at this point. A LOT better.
Anyways, I'm still looking for a host, so if you're seeing this at the moment, you're weird and stop stalking me.
You are looking at DLFM, my new site for displaying all my PHP and Flash works. I'll be adding stuff as I go along, but so far I have a few things done already, so enjoy! Also, I've been looking for a good host for a while now, so if it's like a week after August 11, please bear with me. The preview you see to the left is of my only Flash file so far. I'm thinking up something else to make, so I'll have that out soon.
